About Maranatha Baptist Academy

Maranatha Baptist Academy partners with parents, prepares students academically, and promotes living for Christ. Founded in 1973 as a ministry of Maranatha Baptist University, the Academy provides a traditional, Christ-centered education that prepares students for the challenges of college life. Both athletics and fine arts are an important part of Academy student life. Opportunities include concert choir, concert band, speech and drama classes, an annual Academy play, men’s soccer, women’s volleyball, and men’s and women’s basketball. The success of the school is reflected in its over 900 graduates who serve in various vocations while faithfully ministering in their local churches. Maranatha Baptist Academy holds regional accreditation through Cognia since May, 2016.
