Insurance

All students of Maranatha Baptist Academy must be covered by a health insurance policy. This may be through the parents’ insurance or through a policy available from the MBU. Insurance information must be on file in the MBA office prior to participation, including pre-season practices.

Financial Policies

Tuition provides solely for enrollment costs associated with full-time enrollment at Maranatha Baptist Academy and does not cover costs associated with dual enrollment, college tuition, or costs associated with such offerings. Maranatha Baptist Academy reserves the right to dismiss a student who does not cooperate with the educational and disciplinary objectives of the Academy. If a student is dismissed for any reason, or if a student withdraws, pro-rated tuition must be paid for attendance for any part of that month. Tuition and/or fees are handled on a pre-paid basis and are not refunded or pro-rated under any circumstance.

Tuition may be paid in 9 monthly installments beginning in August. If tuition and/or fees are not paid by the 15th of the month, a 5% late fee is assessed. Accounts must be paid in full before semester or year-end report cards, transcripts, school records, or diplomas are issued. Accounts of graduating seniors must be paid in full or special arrangements must be made in order to participate in Commencement.

Financial Probation and Delinquent Account Policy

Families not making necessary payments or who encounter any condition or occurrence of non-compliance with the Financial Agreement may be placed on Financial Probation. Under rare and special circumstances approved by the school administration, and with appropriate and timely communication with the administration, a student may be permitted to carry an account balance. Students with outstanding account balances may be prohibited from participation in extracurricular activities or may be dismissed from school. School documents such as report cards, transcripts, and diplomas are not issued until all financial accounts are made current.

Students on Financial Probation may be allowed to remain enrolled on a monthly basis. The student’s family must make progress toward becoming current in financial commitments during any grace period.
